One of the best ways to spend an afternoon at Black Point is also one of the simplest. A small dinghy, a couple of oars, a few crab nets, and no real agenda beyond enjoying where you are.

One of the things that makes Black Point special is how accessible fishing and crabbing are. You don't need experience, expensive gear, or a plan. You just need to turn up and have a go.

One of the things I've always loved most about Black Point is the point itself. It's where the bay meets the open water, and where everything changes.

Discover the quiet coastal town that captured our hearts and inspired Peter's Port Shack 131. A place where time slows down and nature takes center stage.

For our family, Peter's Port has always been more than just a shack by the sea. It's where we came to slow down, breathe out, and reconnect — with each other and with the beach right in front of us.
